Part of this My Peak Challenge is setting goals. So here are my Goals for 2017. (Once I get back on the wagon that is. :)
  1. Diet  To be honest we are a busy family with a lot going on. And we eat on the run quite a bit. Also my husband gets some somewhere between 6 and 7:30 so it is hard to plan for that when the boy goes to bed at 8:30! So I am trying to at least buy healthy food to have around the house and trying to cook at least 3-4 days a week.
  2. Exercise - I has GOTS to exercise. And I thought I would have time in my schedule but for some damn reason I have a really hard time finding the time. So I am making time. I am doing some of the workouts from MPC, but have also found some fun ones on Pop sugar Fitness
  3. Clean House - Does this mean my house is always sparkling?!? Heck no! But I just want to keep it picked up! Along with a busy lifestyle that means that stuff just doesn't get picked up. My goal here is that at any given time a friend could come over, and I wouldn't be totally embarrassed!
  4. Organization - This includes my super cool Happy Planner that I am totally obsessed with! But also Organizing toys, kitchen cabinets, etc. Really just need it all Organized!!
  5. Hand Lettering- This is one of my creative goals, I have always loved handlettering. And have vowed to teach myself how to do this!
  6. Christmas Stocking- Oh Lord this thing, Its a needle point stocking that I started on for my son when he was less than a year old. HE IS NOW 6!!! Its time to finish this dagone thing!!!
  7. Blogging - I am so not good at keeping up with my blogging. Like at all. This is a goal to blog at least once a week. Not only here but on my other blog, KY Clickin Mom.
  8. Pen pal - I got a MPC pen pal! I want/need to keep up with this! I love getting to know new people and this is a long lost tradition that I am excited to start back!

So, How's it goin'?

Answer: it isn't!


So My Birthday was at the end of last month and man I fell off the truck, and when I fell, I fell hard and got run over by said truck!

Then it became my busy season at work. ( I am a Boudoir Photographer and its almost Valentines day!) And well lets just say eating habits have gone to shit!
However it is also starting to be my busy season at dance so, I am giving up until after Valentines day. Also my son's 6th Birthday is on Monday with the party the following Saturday. So what does all this mean?!?!?

Month1, Day 1 Down

So I'll admit when I started yesterday, I was like this is really not hard, I'm not sure I'm going to get much of a work out.

Holy Cow was I wrong. By late afternoon I was starting to get stiff, and today well... Today I can barely walk and lift my arms. I must admit I am loving it!!!

Its been a long time since I have been this sore... Today was susposed to be a cardio day, my plan was to run my steps in my house. Well seeing as the only way I can get down the steps is to scoot on my bottom, I'm not real sure this is going to happen today. I keep walking around hoping it will loosen up enough.

Today food was not awesome went and had pizza with my dad. But you know what it was tasty!

Trying out the lemon pan chicken tonight!

So for now, from my couch because I am old and my legs hurt. Peak on Peakers!

Sick Peaker over here

So this first week is NOT going awesome, repeat, NOT awesome.


I have got some God awful cold that is making me feel like total and utter shite. AND I started my period on Tuesday. So yeah only exercise was dance on Monday so at least there is that.

What I HAVE done...
I've started trying some of the recipes and  I am eating better! We only ate out like one night this week. (For us this is amazing!)

I'm started looking at the videos with hope of starting the exercises on Monday!

I did weigh in for the first time in months... Weight is 224.8 Honestly not as bad as I thought it would be. I was 204 right after my son was born and he is almost 6 so 20 pounds in 6 years isn't great, but not nearly as bad as it could be!

My weight goal is 125. so if I look at the bright side I am under 100!

Day 1 MPC2017

So I started a day late... Oh well!

No exercise quite yet, as I have been taking today to work out meal plans and exercise plans.. MAJOR shopping trip tonight!

So far the meal plans are really reasonable and are working even for a picky eater like myself.
